MATRIX HAIR TRANSFORMERS 2026: ELEVATING HAIRDRESSING FROM THE ROOTS UP

Uncomplicating Color, Driving Artistry at Scale & Empowering India’s Next-Gen Profluencers

Matrix Hair Transformers raised the bar for the professional salon industry with an electrifying grand finale, bringing together India’s most promising hair artists for an unforgettable celebration of craft, skill, and the power of digital profluence. Cementing its status as the largest national hairdressing contest in the country, the movement sparked unprecedented momentum—drawing over 50,000 registrations and culminating in 149 extraordinary finalists stepping onto the international finale stage in Bangkok for the ultimate creative showdown.

At its core, the initiative was anchored in Matrix’s overarching mission: uncomplicating high-impact color, championing salon business growth, and elevating the hairdressing community from the roots up. Backed by a massive nationwide upskilling drive, Matrix empowered stylists with commercial, salon-friendly techniques designed to drive chair efficiency, recruit new consumer segments, and unlock fresh revenue streams behind the chair.

Staying true to the brand’s inclusive "All Hair Types. All Humans." ethos, the platform spotlighted grassroots artistry across three vital salon categories: Color Melts, Highlights, and Men’s Color & Cut. The finalists were mentored and evaluated by an elite roster of industry powerhouses, including celebrity hair maestro Aalim Hakim, Matrix Global Ambassador Carlos Rojas, five-time Australian Hairdresser of the Year Samantha James, alongside Indian hairdressing icons Vipul Chudasama, and L'Oréal Experts Binaifer Pardiwalla, and Melroy Dickson.

Far beyond a podium finis h, Matrix Hair Transformers has fostered a thriving army of ‘profluencers’— equipping grassroots salon artists with the technical confidence and digital savvy to command trends, inspire their peers, and lead the future of Indian hairdressing.
