Wellness Connect: A New Platform for a New Wellness Economy

As wellness expands beyond traditional boundaries, Professional Beauty India introduces Wellness Connect, a dedicated B2B platform that brings together the people, ideas, and businesses driving the future of India’s wellness industry.

Wellness is no longer confined to spa menus, yoga studios, or luxury retreats. It has become a defining force influencing how people live, work, travel, exercise, recover, and age. Consumers today are seeking experiences that support their overall wellbeing, and businesses are responding by reimagining the products, services, environments, and experiences they offer.

This shift is reshaping industries far beyond conventional wellness. Beauty professionals are embracing holistic treatment concepts, hospitality brands are investing in immersive wellness experiences, fitness operators are expanding into recovery, while healthcare providers are increasingly focusing on preventative care. As these sectors continue to overlap, the opportunities for collaboration and business growth are becoming impossible to ignore.

WHERE INDUSTRIES MEET

Recognising this evolution, Professional Beauty India is launching Wellness Connect, a dedicated B2B platform that will debut on the 29th and 30th of September at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

Curated by Reena Sheth, Founder and Chief Wellness Strategist, Gaiia - Regenerative Wellness Systems, Wellness Connect has been designed to unite brands, buyers, venue operators, wellness professionals, hospitality leaders, educators, and industry stakeholders on a single platform. Covering wellness, longevity, recovery, beauty wellness, fitness, and integrative health, the initiative reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of today’s wellness economy.

The vision is simple: to create meaningful connections between the people, brands, and ideas shaping the future of wellness. Through curated exhibits, immersive experiences, industry conversations, and networking opportunities, Wellness Connect will showcase emerging trends while creating new opportunities for businesses to collaborate, innovate, and grow. Rather than viewing wellness through the lens of a single industry, the platform embraces the convergence taking place across multiple sectors.

According to Sheth, “Wellness is no longer sitting on the margins of beauty, fitness, hospitality, or lifestyle. It is becoming a core business opportunity. Through Wellness Connect, we want to bring the right categories, brands, conversations, and decision-makers together so that the industry can understand where wellness is moving and how to participate in that growth more meaningfully.”

BUILDING CONNECTIONS ACROSS THE WELLNESS ECONOMY

Speaking about the launch, Vikas Vij, Managing Director, IDEX, says, “The wellness economy is growing rapidly globally, and we’re seeing that shift in India too. But much of the industry continues to operate in silos. Wellness Connect has been created to bridge those gaps by bringing together businesses that may traditionally have worked independently but now share common opportunities. Built by the Professional Beauty India team who have a deep understanding of the beauty and wellness industry in India, we are creating a platform where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and commercial partnerships can thrive and get connected.”

The event will feature live demonstrations, while experiential showcases will allow visitors to explore innovations that are transforming consumer expectations across multiple sectors.

Alongside the exhibition, thought-provoking discussions will examine the commercial realities of today’s wellness economy, exploring changing consumer behaviour, evolving business models, and the opportunities created by a market that increasingly values preventative care and holistic wellbeing.

MORE THAN AN EXHIBITION

As India’s wellness economy continues to gather momentum, platforms that encourage cross-sector collaboration will play an increasingly important role. Wellness Connect arrives at a time when businesses are looking beyond traditional categories to create integrated experiences that deliver lasting value for consumers.

Networking and knowledge sharing will remain central to the experience. Wellness Connect has been designed to facilitate conversations that extend beyond business transactions, encouraging partnerships between entrepreneurs, educators, venue operators, hospitality leaders, healthcare professionals, and investors who are collectively shaping the future of wellness in India.
