TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

The Lonikand Biodiversity Park, an initiative by Dr. Elie Organics in partnership with Thinksharp Foundation, hosted actor Jackie Shroff on a tree plantation drive.

ver 1,000 native trees were planted in Lonikand village as part of the launch of the Lonikand Biodiversity Park, an environmental and social initiative led by ethical clean-beauty brand Dr. Elie Organics in partnership with Thinksharp Foundation.

The project was dedicated to the memory of children who lost their lives in wars worldwide and in the recent Ahmedabad plane crash. The plantation drive aimed to blend ecological restoration with a message of love, peace and humanity.

Bollywood veteran and conservation advocate Jackie Shroff attended as chief guest, joining villagers, school children, environmentalists and volunteers in planting saplings. “Trees give and give without asking. We must plant compassion and responsibility, too,” Shroff said.

Dr Elie, Founder and Director, Dr. Elie Organics, described the park as ‘a prayer rooted in soil’ and part of the brand’s ‘We All Are Connected’ campaign, which targets planting six million trees by 2030.

The Lonikand Biodiversity Park is envisioned as a living ecosystem for native flora, birds and wildlife, and as an educational space for communities. Future phases will see additional plantations, creating a model for green spaces that heal both people and the planet..
